Director Of Business Retention And Expansion
CurrentAs Director of BR&E, I will develop a coordinated regional approach to assisting existing companies in the New River Gorge (NRG) region, while overseeing a holistic business and retention program that involves ongoing relationships with existing companies and private sector leaders.I will identify and address challenges faced by companies, and supervise a coordinated approach between the NRGRDA, the West Virginia Development Office (WVDO) and the Region I Workforce Investment Board with regards to addressing the needs of existing business.I will work to prepare grant applications related to BR&E initiatives, as well as manage and administer all NRGRDA loan programs. I plan to design and implement a strategic plan to increase NRGRDA loan capabilities over the coming years, while establishing and maintaining lending requirements and policies and procedures in conjunction with the NRGRDA loan review committee.I will handle the coordination and packaging of loan applications which encourage participation from private financial institutions, Regional Planning and Development Councils, the West Virginia Economic Development Authority and other partners. I will oversee all loan applications and serve as the staff liaison to the NRGRDA loan review committee to monitor and track outstanding loans.
