As Company XO, I am the second hand to the company commander of the entire 450 personnel unit. My main focus is handling administrative duties for his unit. This includes ensuring that paperwork is completed properly and on time. I am also involved in unit planning alongside the commanding officer and top enlisted man.My logistical duties include overseeing supplies to ensure the unit has adequate inventory of everything it needs. In addition, I make sure the unit's equipment is both adequate in number and in proper working order.I help guarantee the readiness of soldiers. This includes enforcing the unit commander's orders and executing his plans, or even issuing orders and developing plans myself. I also handle the paperwork that ensures personnel are in peak readiness, whether recommending soldiers for advanced training or requesting promotions to fill necessary slots in the chain of command.

I am responsible for making sure equipment, materials and systems are available and functioning for missions. More specifically, I provide supply support for Soldiers and units in field services, aerial delivery, and material and distribution management.I command, direct, plan and/or manage units engaged in the production, acquisition, receipt, storage, issue and distribution of equipment, repair parts, fortifications and construction material, and general supplies. I serve as the focal point for property management and accountability procedures.
