CurrentMy role functions as the lead visual designer on materials developed and distributed through the Training and Staff Development department of OESC. Roughly 70% of this role involves the creation of online and print based materials, video, e-learning, and instructor lead courses. My involvement begins from the initial planning and research phase through material creation, review, and implementation stages. These materials are developed for a variety of audiences including agency staff, state citizens, state administrative and legislative bodies. The other 30% is divided into a combination of peer review of materials by other department staff, research and development for commission wide training initiatives, research of new policy and law related to agency goals, testing and feedback on Commission technology modernization projects. Some highlight of major assignments completed in this position include: * Designing contemporary new visual style guide and asset library for use in materials developed by the Training and Staff Development department. * Contribute redesign and content revisions to procedure and systems manuals used by agency staff.* Develop trainings lessons, reference material and Co-develop state guidance procedures on federally mandated ES/Non-ES complaint systems procedures. * Design E-learning course library. Co-development of standards operating procedures for development of e-learning used by training.* Serve as lead visual designer and Co-developer of content for OESC quarterly manager conferences. * Develop and maintain sections of the OESC's internal SharePoint platform in relation to training and staff development. * Co-produce new agency onboarding package for all new hires. * Serve as team lead on hybrid training of agency new hire staff. This included overseeing production of training materials, conducting multi hour live training classes, review existing curriculum and develop new curriculum on procedures and recent law changes.
