I have been a Professional Writer and Editor since 1996. I adopted several other careers, and am returning to those roots as a "next career". I will be exploring both non-fiction and fiction, paper and electronic media, as well as web design.

I am also competent to provide basic technical support of Macintosh OSX clients and have modest experience working in Linux operating systems. I will provide whatever support the client needs, and will learn a new system if necessary. This includes overight of the maintenance and occupancy of commercial properties, such as offices and shopping plazas. Managing multiple tenants; job duties include collecting rents, handling requests for maintenance or repairs, and negotiating new lease contracts.

I've been doing this with my wife for a few years now. She was doing this job before I met her. Then I got the TFC training so I can back her up, and now we both work with the kids as partners. We do our best to help these kids, so that they leave our home better than when they came to us. What is TFC, really? Since 2005, I have coached primarily the 8th grade boys team in practices and games. and also help manage the middle school boys basketball program, coordinating communication between parents and coaches, organizing practices, defining teams, and generally assisting the other coaches and the athletic director with all matters related to MS Boys Basketball. For the school year 2014, I was asked to coach the HS Junior Varsity Boys basketball team.For the school year, 2015, I was the varsity assistant coach to the HS Varsity Boys basketball team.From 2016 to present, I resumed the middle school coaching job at Sandia Preparatory School, as the Head Coach of the Middle School Basketball Program. It is essentially a vanity title, as I resumed my normal coaching duties with the the 8th grade team in games, but also manage the middle school program as described above.

I am responsible for maintaining the computer systems, and liason with service representatives for telephone, alarm, and other venders that affect the function of this office. My primary function is the installation, maintenance and upgrading of servers and workstations to make sure everyone can work efficiently. I am responsible for ensuring the servers are backed up, and that the server data is secure from unauthorized access. I perform light programming (usually scripting), to automate certain tasks.My secondary function is to design and create solutions that cannot be solved by off the shelf products. There also always customizations to any network which require specialized knowledge. I prefer to deviate as little as possible from the default function of an application to make troubleshooting simpler in the long run. We see enough unannounced changes introduced by Windows Updates.

I am the founding member of the the Vasculitis Foundation in New Mexico, and served as Chapter Leader with weekly meetings from from June 2008 to December 2012 at which time the focus for smaller chapter leaders was renamed to Area Contact, a position I continue to fill as needed whenever people ask for help.Since January 2011, I have served as Technology Coordinator. I was one of two primary decision makers when building the VF website at that time. I converted the office infrastructure to a hybrid cloud services base centering on Google Apps and negotiated the Educational Grant to make that possible. I assisted with implementing SalesForce. I continue to provide on demand remote technical support to the Executive Director, her staff, the Board of Directors, as well as various volunteer leaders from around the world.
