My experience is as a chef in the restaurant industry. And what I have been highly successful doing as a chef, is failing. Failing over and over and over. In that failing I’ve learned more about myself as a leader, as a creative energy, about humility, honesty, treating others with compassion and empathy. I have learned to inhabit these disciplines because for a majority of my life I didn’t have any of them. And in writing this, there is its own undercurrent of fear of failure. But here I am writing. I plan on learning the tools required for this career much how I learned my last, fail until I become great. And become great by raising others to become great. Whatever I have to do to be “of service” to the community and the world around me.
