Joseph is a seasoned nonprofit executive currently serving as the Executive Director of the C5 Youth Foundation of Southern California. He is also a founding member of The Undefeated Foundation whose mission is to inspire youth through sport, education and nutrition. The LionSun Group specializes in strategy, events, creative direction, and program design/ development. Past and current clients include Westfield Mall, FCancer and Free Arts for Abused Children.Joseph was the former President and CEO of Inner-City Arts; developing it's strategic vision, refreshing its social media presence, implementing a staff development and training program and introducing the organization to a new audience of partners, funders and supporters. Prior to that he led the Kanye West Foundation, a program that exposed youth from the inner city to the arts and executive produced the nationally televised stay in school concert series, S.H.O.W. (Students Helping Our World) bringing national awareness to the staggering drop out rate among high school students in the U.S.Joseph spent his early career working for two of the premiere non profits in New York City, University Settlement House and The Door-A Center of Alternatives. Under his leadership, Joseph grew the visual and performing arts programs, launched a national career awareness model program for out-of-school youth and let the partnerships of several NYC school programs. He created and produced Roots! An inter generational Hip Hop culture celebration, a yearlong arts in education program. He also implemented a rigorous college prep program and managed a multi-year summer residential community service project.Joseph holds both a bachelor's and master's degree from New York University and a non profit executive management certificate from Columbia's School of Business.
