I gather resources for the development efforts of Community Does It primarily through grant writing and face-to-face pitches. I also promote the organization’s growth and impact by managing communications and social media. Community Does It is a non-profit organization that applies Community-Based Participatory Research Methods (CBPR) and grassroots organizing principles to engage and empower members of marginalized populations in Dallas to co-lead initiatives to bring equitable access to quality public health in their own communities.

I had the joy of teaching Theology of the Body to high school seniors. We are able to reflect on questions such as: What is true, what is real and why does that matter? Who am I and what is the purpose of my life? We explore the answers to these questions as put forth by St. John Paul II during his 129 Wednesday Audience catechesis from 1979 to 1984.
