As a People and Culture Assistant at NightOwl Entertainment, I support the recruitment, development, and engagement of the company's diverse and talented workforce. I assist with the sourcing, screening, and scheduling of interviews, as well as the onboarding, orientation, and training of new hires. I also help with the implementation and evaluation of various HR policies and programs, such as performance management, employee relations, and wellness initiatives. I am a Bachelor of Commerce student at Curtin University, majoring in Human Resources Management and Services. I have a keen interest in learning and applying the best practices and strategies for managing and motivating people in the workplace. Prior to joining NightOwl, I served as a Sergeant in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) for one and a half years, where I developed and demonstrated leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. I worked with various teams and stakeholders to coordinate and execute military operations and projects, as well as to support and facilitate the training and welfare of my subordinates. I am motivated by the opportunity to leverage my skills and experience to contribute to the success and growth of NightOwl and its employees.
