Prepared the entire OS&E budget and selected all the equipment for the all Housekeeping operation. Recruited the initial Supervisors Team and introduced and developed a new concept of luxury service unique to Zanzibar. Developed a positive work environment for all 50 employees, as well as developing and contributing to the local community and environment related initiatives.The 40 suites & 9 villas successfully opened in June 2011. 1. Leads the Housekeeping Department by developing and implementing departmental objectives in line with the hotel business objectives.2. Supervises housekeeping operations such as cleaning and maintenance whilst ensuring compliance with all housekeeping policies, procedures, standards and the satisfaction of guests’ needs.3. Inspects daily all areas and takes corrective measures in order to meet Standards in terms of cleanliness, maintenance and supply. Develops implements and continually reviews the policies, procedures, practices and standards.4. Selects, trains, develops, schedules and manages the performance of direct and indirect subordinates to ensure the efficient running of housekeeping operations. Ensures that staff performance is managed and that training and development accordingly.
