These qualities have consistently led to high rankings on employee engagement surveys for not only myself, but the management team under me. Many years of leading large teams and maneuvering through significant structural and operational changes has fine tuned my management style. I am currently a part of the CMA CGM America team. They purchased APL in 2017, but maintained separate commercial brands until 2020. My career with APL was one of rapid trajectory with regular increases in my teams size, scope, and responsibility. Now as part of CMA CGM, the scope takes another big leap as the trade network is significantly larger in every direction. I started with APL in 2005 as a Customer Service Rep. I learned the industry through the lens of customer service, which keeps me grounded and empathetic to the front line work done and the customer perspective.
