I am an accounting and data analytics student in my senior year at Portland State University. I am a certified expert in Microsoft Excel and I have working knowledge of Microsoft Access and Quickbooks. I also have experience working in Tableau.Along with my accounting knowledge, I am interested in data analytics. I believe that proper data analysis is a crucial step in any business decision. I have the ability to take thousands of lines of data and come up with results that can be explained to someone with no knowledge of the data.I am also someone who enjoys helping others in every aspect of life. I have the ability to be a neutral third party that oversees an operation without bias. When I was working at UPS, I was not in the position of manager but I would often get put with new-hires so that they could learn from me. I believe that positive reinforcement and mutual understanding is the best way to guide a new employee or a student.
