DUTIES: Review of construction documents and construction phasing from design to commissioning. Develop standards for tenant construction projects. Coordinate tenant construction activities with other Massport construction projects and departments. Insure projects comply with approved plans and Massport policies and procedures. This is accomplished with an in house staff of 7 Resident Engineers plus contracted resident engineering services.Represent Massports interest by observing field operations and anticipating potential interruptions of Massport operational activities. Implement appropriate action to mitigate or avoid construction related impacts on Massport activities. Library and archive construction documents.Provide Project Management with technical and operational guidance, coordinate, support and supervise Project Managers, Engineers, Resident Engineers and supporting staff. Provide technical guidance to Massport Management and assist with information distribution. Respond and resolve unanticipated construction impacts to Massport operations 24/7.Massport Properties include Three Airports, a Ship Container Terminal, a Cruise Line Terminal and hundreds of acres of leased land in South Boston, East Boston, Charlestown and various other sites within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
