Joseph Foley has been the Chief Financial Officer of Delaware Claims Processing Facility (“DCPF”) since 2007, and was the intuitive choice for CFO of NextClaim. Joe has created and modernized the critical cost-sharing protocols the DCPF needs to ensure equitable cost allocation and seamless external audits and tax preparations for all entities the DCPF represents. Joe is also responsible for all claim payments the DCPF processes for the trusts. Joe’s leadership, integrity, attention to detail, and love of numbers has elevated the DCPF’s finance functions to the highest standards of trustworthiness, transparency, and rigor. A CPA, Joe earned his Series 7 Certification between 1987-1990, and his MBA in Finance from Drexel University in 1995. He started his career as a Staff Auditor at the Prudential Insurance Company, then a Controller at Metpath, Inc. In 1994, Joe became Corporate Controller for Qualmed Plans for Health, Inc. in Philadelphia before accepting Coventry HealthCare of Delaware, Inc.’s invitation to become Divisional CFO in 1996.Joe made his debut in the settlement claims world in 2001, when he became the Chief Financial & Operating Officer of AHP Settlement Trust in Philadelphia. Joe’s continued leadership will help NextClaim’s financing and accounting teams transition smoothly into processing broader types of settlement claims.
