Responsible for supporting the Investment Management team with critical data analysis and automation in the management of current and further investment products. Assisting with daily risk assessment and position analysis across all of Swan’s portfolios and strategies, as well as Swan’s overlay programs.

Working closely with the directors of the firm in the financial analysis of potential investments, conducting market/industry research for investment strategies, conducting due diligence for acquired companies, and assist in structuring deal terms and analysis. Mainly focused on making equity investments in lower middle market companies with investment size between $1 - $5 million per transaction throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Frederick Banting Foundation, created in 2011, is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation which funds innovative Juvenile Diabetes medical research. The foundation is dedicated to the overall goal of finding a cure or vastly improving treatment modalities for type 1 diabetes by supporting translational research that is progressing towards commercial development and clinical practice. Our funding activities have varied across numerous disciplines and topics, including the Artificial Pancreas project, remote monitoring technology for diabetes summer camps, autologous immune modulation therapy, T1D disease epidemiology, hormone formulation for the better control of glycemic variablitly, stem cell, and much more.

Assisting senior banker on different stages of the M&A process: preparing pitch books, generated operating / financial models, draft marketing materials (teasers, confidential information memorandums and various buyer-specific presentations and analysis).

Highly involved in all stages of the M&A process: prepared pitch books, generated operating models, valuation models (including LBO, comparable company and transaction analysis), draft marketing materials (teasers, confidential information memorandums and various buyer-specific presentations and analysis), coordinate and conduct due diligence, and ultimately assisted senior bankers in closing negotiations. Staffed on 15 different active engagements including M&A, buy-side, corporate spin-off and debt raise.

Experiences included a variety of mergers, acquisitions, and public offerings in an assortment of industries. Responsible for modeling, presentation materials and managing / assisting in transaction process. Valuation models included comparable company and transaction analysis, LBO, Merger and DCF. Staffed engagements included M&A, equity raise, buy-side and debt refinance.
