I am currently residing in the Atlanta, Georgia, area and have lived here for thirty years with a brief time spent living in phoenix, Philadelphia and Detroit. I enjoy spending time with family and close friends, traveling the globe, and listening to my favorite tunes. I am an alumnus of the university of Georgia and received a bachelors of science degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. I have been employed by two major airlines since graduating from the university of Georgia as a flight attendant and thoroughly enjoy my career meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and working with my cabin crew at 35,000 feet in the air. I have gained knowledge on how to interact with others with tactfulness, solve problems with limited resources in the air, cater to individual customer's needs, and work as a team player in order to ensure a safe environment while providing exceptional customer service . Working as a facility manager in the Ramsey Student Center at the University of Georgia (which is over 440,00 sq. ft.) taught me the importance of responsibility, dependability, efficiency, and leadership. As a facility manager I managed as many as sixty staff members at any given time. I am held responsible of being able to perform any and all emergency situations when needed. It is a requirement to be CPR/First Aid certified by the American Red Cross as a staff member at the Ramsey Student Center.I have many volunteer experiences crossing many different spectrums including interacting with hospitalized children, mentoring disadvantaged children, and organizing political groups for social causes. It is a passion of mine to help life those voices of people around me who are less privileged than I am and I enjoy inclusive and diverse environments.
