I have grown up in The automotive industry I've never done anything else, I started at the age of 15 when my father who owned his own shop preferred for me to go to work for the president of the Northern New Jersey auto body association rather than have me work in his own shop he did this fearing that I would not learn every aspect of the autobody repair process if I were working directly for him. I was given my first tool which was a broom I slowly moved up to painters helper,Bodyman's helper, and then as a Bodyman Painter combo which is normal on the East Coast when I moved to Los Angeles in the early 80s I began working for Y & S autobody in San Pedro where I was trained to be an Estimator and I later became the Senior Estimator I was trained in aluminum repair for Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar and was later promoted to assistant GM and then GM of the San Pedro store after many years at Y&S Autobody I decided to attempt the possibility of ownership In struggling facility in need of management unfortunately I could. Or save that facility because of External issues so it was not to be but I later joined AW Collision where I thrived for the past four years and I have proven that knowledge and experience are the most valuable tools we have to gain and give
