Oversaw all aspects of operations for a nationally distributed craft brewer spanning four production sites in Colorado, Michigan, North Carolina and Virginia with total headcount under management of approximately 800 people. Directly managed a cross-functional team of 10 people, including VP Technical Operations, VP Engineering, VP Production, Director Supply Chain Management, Director New Product Development, EH&S Director, Director Sustainability and Environmental Programs, Director Procurement, and Director Manufacturing Excellence, with dotted line management of Finance, HR and Legal business partners. Member of executive leadership team responsible for corporate strategy, business development, and financial performance.• Led 2023 acquisition of a state-of-the-art, 259,00 square foot production brewery in Daleville, VA, from Constellation Brands, expanding the company’s existing production capacity to meet demand and enabling growth beyond the craft beer category with the addition of FMB, seltzer, and RTD production capabilities.• Key member of executive leadership team responsible for development of M&A strategy, evaluation of potential targets, and successful acquisition and integration of Bell’s Brewery in 2021, creating America’s largest craft beer platform.• Drove high single digit improvement in gross margin through cost optimization, implementation of new procurement strategies, optimization of beer recipes through evaluation and application of analytical data, and implementation of supply chain scorecard.
