I’m a disabled coloured person with a left artificial leg, currently employed as a Senior Administrative Officer in the Water Use Authorization Office in Port Elizabeth office, Eastern Cape from 1st April 2007 till now. CEO of Jacobs Global Solutions (Pty) Ltd since January 2020My current job purpose is to implement Section 41 of the National Water Act 36 of 1998, ensure compliance to the relevant legislation and issuing of water use authorisations, declaration of existing lawful water uses, co-ordination of illegal water use investigations, compilation and consolidation of comments for environmental authorizations as per BAR or EIAR and for mining closure certificates for DMR, liaison with external water sector partners through co-operative governance and General Management of the WMA 7, P.E. Water Use Authorization Office. I was previously employed in the Department of Water Affairs Regional office in the Northern Cape for 6 years and 8 months as a Senior Auxiliary Officer being responsible for WMA 10 Lower Vaal’s Hydrological data and drainage sub-regional management.
