My name is Joseph Janecek and I am a recent graduate from Seattle University (June 2017). I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a minor in math. I am extremely excited to begin my career in the field of computer science. While my degree focuses have been on a general and well-rounded understanding of computer science, I am extremely interested in both game programming and computer graphics. I have taken classes on these topics and find them challenging, interesting and incredibly rewarding. I have worked on several projects both within my courses and a few outside of class. Despite my interest in computer graphics and game programming, my studies have consisted of a more fundamental understanding of computer science. I have a very good understanding of many of the fundamentals of computer science, such as: object oriented programming, data structures, and design and analysis of algorithms to name a few. I also have experience in a more specialized variety of programming skills, such as: basic understanding of databases (both relational and non-relational), the agile approach to Software Engineering, MEAN Stack development, and computer graphics and game programming.Since graduating I have continued to enhance my computer science skills by following tutorials on how to use python in Maya 2016, doing research on advanced shading and lighting techniques in openGL and completing a variety of algorithm challenges.
Listed skills include C++, C#, Sql, Java, and 7 others.
