I have been in the industry since I was 17 years old, starting with being introduced to Red Team tactics and Network Penetration Testing in 2018 through the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corp. I had a team of penetration testers from Direct Defense lead the training and that forever changed my course in life.From there I started my journey with Shea Homes. Where I learned basic IT techniques and was properly introduced to the corporate office scene. This foundational phase was followed by a role at Grand Canyon University as a technical support technician answering phone calls and assisting students from remote and campus-based students, with different issues, and gained experience with the browser. I then took my skills and worked with Kimley-Horn & Associates where my responsibilities grew into network management with AD/DS and eventually took control of the onboarding process of technical rollout providing custom imaged machines and networking security protocols. In a significant leap forward, I transitioned into working as an Information Security Officer Intern for FAST Enterprises where I learned a lot about the cyber security industry. Cybersecurity isn't just a career for me; it's a lifelong passion. I've immersed myself in continuous learning and industry engagement, from attending F5 Agility Labs conventions to planning visits to renowned conferences like DefCon and Black Hat.Through my time at Western Colorado University I focused on converting from a script kiddie to be more proficient with my toolset and programming skills. I have come to love creating scripts with Python, such as Python Scapy, Flask, & TensorFlow. I am beginning to be introduced to C and C++ learning how system calls work and being able to work on low-level programming. I have experience in Java and making large scale object-oriented projects.I am skilled Kali Linux, Parrot OS, Windows Powershell, and Windows Server Active Directory. Through my past experiences working with companies that utilize these application, I also became proficient in networking and routing and setting up route tables and creating wireless networks.I am also a Co-Founder of BauerDeHerrera Technologies, LLC. where we specialize in software solutions and hardware development to increase the quality of life in many different industries.
