Key Responsibilities:1. Ensure that ISO 9001:2015 QMS Standard operating procedures for your department are followed. 2. Report on test results acceptance criteria to QA and other relevant consumers of the product on material approval and rejection3. Review and check all Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).4. Implement and oversee a product stability schedule for all batches which needs to be studied5. Report on any OOT / OOS for any product under stability studies to QA6. Evaluate material pre purchase samples based on acceptance criteria and report to QA on the suitability of the vendor as per the analysis reports7. Ensure Validation of analytical methods8. Authority figure for all lab functions as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Standard9. Schedule calibration of the available Laboratory equipment per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirement10. Schedule external maintenance of lab analytical equipment to ensure that machines are in proper working condition11. Issue change control forms for any process stage during manufacturing processes12. Oversee all laboratory operations.13. Ensure analysis and reporting of all incoming raw materials, bulk proucts and finished products.

Responsibilities• Elemental analysis of Soils, Fuel oils, Lube oils, food products and water as per desiredspecifications by ICP-OES and AAS.. Pesticides screening in fresh produce, tea, water, herbs using GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS. Vitamin A determination in food samples using LC-FID. Analysis of VOCs, TPH, PAHs in waste water, soils, ground water using GC-MS/FID• Provision of accurate and prompt test results to clients.• Participation in proficiency testing schemes for food and water.• Maintenance of the ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 quality management systems.• Maintenance of health, safety and environmental regulations in the laboratory.• Training and supervision of analysts/trainees and support staff.• Plan and schedule work/analysis on a daily basis.• Maintenance of inventories of consumables and observance of re-order levels.• Ensuring that the calibration status of all equipment used is verified at all times beforeany testing is carried out and any equipment out of calibration reported immediately.. Ensure all Operational Integrity practices are adhered to.. Drive departmental Quality health and safety practices as per the set policies and guidelines.
