Providing technical support to facility health workers in planning and implementation of HIV services (care and treatment, TB/HIV, and PMTCT & GBV) to ensure that patients receive the full complement of prevention, treatment, and care per MoH guidelines.Taking a medical history and conducting a physical examination of patients.Supporting scale-up and sustenance of aPNS in Viremia clinics at CCC and PMTCT.Oversee follow-up care of PMTCT clients and HIV exposed infants at the facility.Timely preparation and submission of work plans, reports, and NYAWEST case summaries.Assisting in program monitoring, evaluation, and use of data to inform program planning and continuous improvement.Support in design and implementation of GBV interventions, mentorship on GBV, documentation, and report writing on GBV at the facility level.Track and ensure real-time documentation of patients’ information in the EMR.Building the skills and knowledge of the clinical staff on HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment, TB, GBV, and PMTCT through on-job training, mentorship, case reviews, and CMEs.Routinely monitor program quality through QI approaches as well as elements of operations research including identification and documentation of ‘best practices to ensure high-quality HIV/AIDS service provision.Support Mentorship services at the Sub-county level in highlighting program indicators, OJT of new staff, case summaries, reviews, and discussion at NYAWEST.
