I began my content design career at PC World.... Where in the World? Hemel Hempstead.I then worked for the Department for Education for 13 years as a contractor in various capacities. At one point I managed and maintained 3,000 pages. Yeah I did deserve a medal.Later I specialised on ensuring DfE Word documents were as accessible as possible and branded correctly, before converting to PDF.Now I'm a content designer for the University of Southampton. I am writing their course pages and making the web copy accessible.
