Created separate “tidy data sets” that allowed buyers to import data into any SQL system. ● Consult with member institutions and leadership to explore methodologies to report and compare compensation that affect HR decisions and outcomes. ● Trained leaders on using data for organizing and strategizing salary negotiations.Key Accomplishments: • Featured in media interviews and responded to media queries about trends in national faculty salary for higher education.• Automated the data workflow for our faculty compensation survey to decrease the time for validation and make the data more useful for all stakeholders thus increasing the revenue generated from the survey by 25% (To 112k). • Recovered 90% of lost revenue from the previous year (18k).
Urbana-Champaign, Illinois Area
Hired as a Visiting Research Engineer in 2014. Promoted to Linguistic Data Analytics Manager in 2016. Continue to work with graduate students who are completing research and dissertation projects as a faculty affiliate (2017-2020).● Consulted with social sciences and humanities faculty researchers and graduate students on challenging questions associated with data that required analysis beyond the commonly used techniques and transformation of data to apply models from statistical packages such as R, SAS and SPSS.
