As a Careers and Employability Advisor for Skills Bootcamps, I work as part of a dedicated learner-facing team to deliver activities that support the career development and destinations of a diverse range of learners across various provision areas as part of the Level 3 Skills Bootcamp provision and Level 2 and 3 Adult Education programmes.The Level 3 Skills Bootcamp courses I offer Careers Guidance, CV/ Job Application and Interview Support cover:Digital Project Management Project Management Software Development IT Infrastructure Technical Service DeskData Analysis Care Digital MarketingCyber SecurityI provide individual career information, advice and guidance for learners whilst creating and delivering engaging workshops and learning activities, focusing on enhancing learner destinations by supporting learners, whether into employment, further education or training.Key Responsibilities• Providing advice and guidance to learners relating to employment and career development, including sessions in the virtual classroom, through centrally run activities and events, by promoting the extensive online resources.• Supporting learners to gain interviews with employers to support them in achieving intended employment outcomes.• Working closely with academic, employer engagement and other central services to ensure a joint-up approach to learner success.• Supporting and advising delivery staff such as Tutors, Trainers and Assessors on embedding employability and careers information, advice and guidance in the primary curriculum. • Devising and delivering workshops to support learners in achieving their intended destinations and outcomes.• Designing, promoting and delivering activities and events through which learners can build their networks with employers in relevant sectors or dedicated events with employers.

I worked as part of a learner monitoring team, to ensure all learners have thorough information, advice and guidance, through the day-to-day monitoring of an allocated learner caseload of around 250 apprentices, across a number of professional sectors. I supported the achievement and progression of learners throughout the duration of their apprenticeship programme, conducting 1.1 support sessions, systems training, setting and reviewing of individualised SMART targets and creating individual support plans, to encourage engagement and regular communication, for each learner to actively progress, with relevant and adapted support. • Confident in effectively managing a large caseload of apprentices within a remote setting, using a number of online systems, including Smart Assessor, Endurance, Smart VLE and Puzzle Telephone system. • Coaching learners through mandatory diversity, safeguarding and inclusion training and assessments, regularly marking and mapping of all assessments to ensure learners progress is monitored and updated to reflect achievement. • Working with ALN team to actively encourage learners to proactively engage with BKSB and Cognassisst; those who match to then engage with all ALN support activities to reinforce learner progress. • Using 121 System training sessions with learners due to lack of field staff, ensuring learners can confidently access the support and guidance, to help them meet SMART Targets and achieve expectations. • Ensuring timely escalation of any learner issues identified including health and safety, ALS and safeguarding and following relevant procedures in doing so. • Ensuring thorough compliance in regard to engagement, assessment and quality, managing all learner and employer enquiries in an efficient, effective and timely manner. • Completing learner support reviews, including, 8-10 week engagement reviews recording relevant information accurately, timely and using designated data portals and systems.

Working in partnership with the DWP, careers coaching a caseload of participants to support them into sustainable employment and training through the Job Entry Targeted Solutions Scheme: • Working with participants, to identify and overcome barriers with finding employment.• Case managing, to sub to roles and training courses and internal employment training.• Maintaining high Job stability for Participants which have gone into work. • Supporting with Recruitment Events and Screening Participants for roles.• Supporting Skill Training adviser with CV building and running mock Interviews.• Supporting Disengagement Adviser by organising and running meetings at local job centre, and covering disengagement caseload when needed.

A newly created Pastoral Tutor Team, focused on the attendance, achievement and progression of my cohort of 185 students, divided into 8 tutorial groups with whom I delivered careers, advice and guidance, across a Post 16 Tutorial programme, including:• Development of Individual Learning Plans• Classroom delivery of Personal Progression programme, covering careers, university applications, apprenticeships, work experience and personal development skills.• SEND Support, Assessments and 121 Student Progress Reviews• Delivery and administration of the UCAS university application process.• Apprenticeships and employment training, guidance and support.• Attendance management and safeguarding referrals• Communication and referrals to external services.
