Sole responsibility of sales for Police, Furla and Nina Ricci Eyewear across Scotland & North EastEnglandManagement of all current and new businessOpticians (+365 opticians currently investing in De Rigo eyewear, and over 1400 potential new independent optician clients)Working alongside the Area Manager to ensure strategy is followed, clients are serviced as team, and that targets are met accordinglyNegotiating sales terms for every order, prioritising larger, group-practice business to boost volume and to ensure stand-out of De Rigo brands in multiple outlets, maintaining desired wall space against that of De Rigo’s competitorsWorking closely with the UK Marketing Team, focusing on the implementation of all marketing materials (both in-store and online)Attending local and national trade fairs, focusing on sales growth and brand awareness Creating weekly sales reports to focus on wins, leads, areas to improve and goals

Advising, supplying and fitting the ideal solution of frame for patients; considering lifestyle, trends, styling and price pointFrame & lens selection; working with over 8 large, reputable frame suppliers and 5 lens suppliers; choosing styles from entry, mid and luxury price levels, catering for all patient budgets, understanding licensed products as well as house-owned brandsManagement of all sales and marketing plans for the practice; understanding the local market (of the Glasgow & surrounding area) and working to gain patient loyalty in a city in which over 150 independent opticians are operating with a population of over 600,000; all of which have an obligation and medical need which can be catered forWorking alongside the practice management team to monitor stock levels and everyday management and planning of the practiceProviding aftercare for all frames and / or contact lens patients, ensuring recurrent business and repeat businessEnsuring all clinical, patient practice is followed in accordance with GOC regulations

Fitment of all glasses, following the prescription provided by the optometrist / ophthalmologist Management and provision of all given specifications; including prescription, material, style, colour and size for the ophthalmic technicians  Management of all patient records and requirements  Contact lens instruction and advise to patients

From the age of 19, playing Hockey on a professional level became my focus. In 2006 I entered a contract with GTHGC Grosser Flotbeck (Hamburg) and the Auckland Indians and Central District which resulted in overseas playing and residence (New Zealand and Germany)
