A graduate of Anglia Ruskin’s Bioinformatics Apprenticeship, during which time I was employed at the biotechnology company Illumina, and the holder of an additional degree from Plymouth University In Digital Art & Technology. During my four-year apprenticeship in bioinformatics at Illumina and Anglia Ruskin University I have been given the experience of working for a global leader in the genomics space and involvement in the development of a major product, NovaSeq X. This means working in highly motivated teams of experts solving cutting-edge problems to produce best-in-class products. I also conducted independent bioinformatic investigations in support of multidisciplinary teams, developed pipelines, and performed novel analyses. These experiences have honed my analytical and problem-solving abilities.I have a passion for all things technological and I am excited to continue to learn and develop my skills while contributing to challenging projects. I adapt well when working within a team and enjoy working toward a common goal but I am also comfortable working independently.
