My name is Joseph Edward Solomon, Jr., but I go by Teddy. I live in Geneva, Illinois, and I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in May 2023 with a bachelor's degree in computer science. I am a responsible and hard worker who always finishes tasks on time. I am also on the autism spectrum, which has provided me with multiple other strengths I can bring to the table. For example, I have strong attention to detail and am good at noticing patterns and other small details that others might miss, which comes in handy in cases such as proofreading. In addition, I am highly organized and good at keeping everything in place.I have been interested in computer science ever since the first class I took in high school. I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of coding, the "puzzle" aspect of figuring how to make everything work, and the satisfaction of producing the intended results. My main programming languages are Java and Python, but I am also experienced with HTML, PHP, SQL, R, Ubuntu, JavaScript, and C++. In Summer 2021, I had an internship with Vanderbilt University in which I contributed to a game they were working on by writing Python code to convert files of information into different formats. I also had an internship in Spring 2023 with Puckmasters Hockey Training Centers in which I helped to create them a new website using Wix. I am currently looking for a full-time position in programming or software development, especially one for a company with a supportive team that values creativity and different points of view.
