Supervising and training 20 personnel in the operation and maintenance of a 600-PSI marine propulsion boiler.

Operated, repaired and conducted maintenance consisting of the following: removal/reassembly of steam drum internals, fireside/exhaust stack cleaning, hydrostatic testing of pressure vessels/piping systems, replacing air casing gaskets, burner tip protrusion and sprayer plate inspection, boiler gage glasses, examination, adjusting/setting of boiler safety valves. Direct and supervise 50 personnel in coordinating production control, planned maintenance. Engineering Training Team Coordinator-Coached & Trained 50 personnel in Engineering Plant Operation & Casualty Control. Conducted briefings to watch standers. Fuel oil and lube oil quality technician. Responsible for the testing of both fuel oil and lubricating oil distribution to one of two main boilers, main engine reduction gears and auxiliary turbines, and generators. Maintain 25 cooler and assist in 3 compressors. Manage the maintenance, overhauled repaired & tested relief valves, pneumatic operated valves & high-pressure valves within specifications outlined in the maintenance package. Quality Assurance Craftsman- Responsible for the final outcome of maintenance and repairs done to the boiler and associated equipment. Repaired 60 seven and a half ton self contained air conditioners 3 eight ton refrigeration systems, and 12 three hundred – fifty ton air conditioning systems. Injected refrigerant into compressors to test systems. Added Freon gas to build up prescribed operating pressure. Observed pressure and vacuum gauges and adjusted controls to ensure efficient operation.
