Provide assistance on scheduling R+D and quality tests, maintenance work, and engineering tests. Review department KPI's and WIP flow with the planning group and completing the production schedule. Provide mid-month forecast predictions for the department to the financial group and coaching my team leaders to be successful. Investigate and work with Human Resources on resolving severe associate conflicts. Manage and balance staffing hiring for all 5 shifts. Provides assistance to managers and team leaders on all 5 shifts when necessary.June 2022 - Jan 2024Responsible for the 48 hour operation of the ball plant during the weekend operations. With over 180+ associates, I provide assistance in guiding the team leaders on direction in regards to production, company policy, safety, and quality concerns. Follow through to timely completion of all safety incident reports, quality issues, and corrective actions reports. Report weekend productivity numbers, safety, quality concerns, and machine issues during the weekday meetings. A leader in 6S events, I introduce, train, and guide team leaders along with associates on how to conduct 6S events to completion. For Q2-Q4 of 2023, in addition to my weekend management responsibilities, I also covered 1st shift in Urethane department and worked with outside partners on multiple Kaizen projects. We developing our new "Manufacturing Excellence Operating System" structure that was then rolled out to the rest of the facility once developed and proven successful.

Immediately responsible for the 2nd shift Urethane department. Achieves success by placing into action the needs of the production plan through the urethane casting lines, mold release process planning for the casting lines, and Autobuff. Maintains employee balances to match the overall demand. Manages and handles employee related issues to follow the company policies and core values. Works as a team with the other two shift team leaders in a spirit of leadership to achieve production demand, quality, and safety. Adapts quickly to change through filling immediate business needs as a temporary team leader of the Core side operations as well.

Directly responsible for the productivity and continued operations of seven separate departments including CNC Spinning, High Speed Metal Forming Automation, Hydroform, Metal Prep, Press, Rolling, and White Goods Automation. My primary focus is to help support my team leaders in planning out production work so orders are met on a timely schedule, as well as handle all performance assessments, and employee related issues. Identifies, evaluates, and resolves process and machine related issues to improve the quality and performance of the process and product. Measures KPI's critical to the department's and provides solutions to improve the performance indicators.

Contributed to continuous improvement of production processes (focus on yield improvement for a ceramic brazing manufacturer), provided re-certification training to new and existing staff, documented new and current processes, and submitting new or modified tooling drawings changes. Reviewed inspection of inspectors defects, returns by customers, and participated in customer communications.

Handled prototype jobs and resolved all new part issues and adjustments to create good yields before sending to production. Monitored production processes and eliminated production issues, improve yields, and improve processes for the operators. Documented methods and manufacturing instructions.

Completed all operations processes run through assembly line including assembly, leak seal checking, electrical tests, chemical cleaning, and visual/dimensional inspections.

Managed up to 8 employees at a time, resolved employee and customer issues, inventory resupplying, and training new employees.
