In this role, I am responsible for collaborating with senior public sector officials, global corporate executives, private and public financial institutions, colleges and universities, logistics firms, and commodity exchanges, including the White House, USDA, USAID, state and commerce officials, and the United Nations, to discuss critical issues, including climate change, food security, trade complications, and technology. I orchestrate various global events for BCIU board members and senior leaders to effectively promote the organization and individual members. I also oversee the global agriculture portfolio, manage a budget and a P&L of $600,000, and formulate new fundraising strategies to develop programs and to diversify revenue. One of my accomplishments includes securing multi-year, $300,000 contracts with Fortune 500 member companies, including Bayer Corporation and Valmont Industries.

I served as an advisor to U.S. government, foreign embassy, and public sector officials and corporate leaders on various topics, including agriculture and education sector issues. I launched new programs which garnered six-figure revenue streams while training new staff members on providing support of these new business streams. I also facilitated impactful engagements with U.S. Executive Director, Cindy McCain, World Food Programme, and C-suite executives through major global events.

I initially joined the organization as a Fellow where I was responsible for fundraising of large global corporations. I was promoted to Program Coordinator later in 2019 where I was able to bring together company executives and public sector officials to discuss such issues as specific policy and investment challenges regarding antimicrobial resistance in Mexico, Argentina, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Brazil. I also managed the event budgets and P&Ls.

I analyzed legislation, prepared vote recommendations, and monitored amendments on appropriate bills. I also cultivated relationships with interest groups, constituents, and governments officials.

Brought in materials from all over the world to rebuild the furnace of the Float Glass Plant. Organized the warehouse to have enough supply to last during the furnace rebuild. Managed a team to implement new methods of securing glass during transport, limit breakage and save costs.
