I worked for a small landscape company for 10 years while attending college and holding other part time jobs. I worked security while studying Criminal Justice at the Morton Arboretum is Lisle, IL for two and a half years. After finishing up college and deciding to turn to HVAC I had a few short time retail jobs to pay for college. Eventually the landscape company closed and I got a part time job at Binny's Beverage Depot as a receiving manager. I worked there for four years, and finished college then went full time. Two years later I applied at Accel Entertainment and started as a slot cage technician, then I became a bench technician and ultimately parts repair supervisor. I built my position at Accel, slot parts repair simply did not exist. I was able to self teach myself repair techniques for the specific parts inside of a slot machine including but not limited to:CPUs (R&R, change boards/fans, troubleshoot) Display panels (AD, T-Con, Inverter board repair, touch glass replacement, CCFL to LED upgrade)Bill validators (JCM graduate)Printers (Epic/Ithaca 950)Power supplies (board repair, fan(s))Interior cabinet control and black plane boards (troubleshooting and light SMD soldering)My first year of parts repair saved my company over $1 million, my last year (2021) I saved over $5 million in one year.
