Advisor: Gael UngResearch Focus: Synthesis of suitable ligands to complex with lanthanides and measure their photophysical and chiroptical properties (absorption, emission, luminescence, lifetime, quantum yield, CPL).Collaboration with Prof. Abhik Ghosh group at The Artic University of Norway, Norway.Collaboration with Dr. Jie He group at University of Connecticut, U.S.A.Collaboration with Dr. Jing Zhao group at University of Connecticut, U.S.A.Teach undergraduates general chemistry and lead discussion and lab sessions in organic chemistry.Experience with handling air- and moisture-sensitive reagents.Work with air- and moisture sensitive equipment (Schlenk line and glove box).
