I was brought in to rejuvenate the Men’s Fitness brand and build a digital content strategy for the weekly freemium Coach. I put together and lead two teams producing cross-channel content – print, video and social. I was also the editorial lead on various commercial projects, including Clarins Skincare influencer videos. I oversaw the creation of a suite of SEO-driven articles and bespoke video content that helped take coachmag.co.uk to 400,000 unique monthly visitors within its first six months. I also increased the Men’s Fitness Facebook by 150% to 450k followers, surpassed 100k followers on Twitter and more than quadrupled the Instagram following.

I was headhunted by Bauer to lead a multi-channel strategic overhaul of this world-famous lifestyle brand. I recruited and managed a team of 15 enormously talented individuals, developed a digital-first content strategy and established a more joyful and contemporary tone of voice across the brand. The results: I took the title from a six-figure loss into profit, Facebook followers from 206k to 4 million, FHM.com to 2.6 million monthly uniques, established content deals with brands such as Unilever’s Vo5 and Jägermeister, and got to hang out with Will Ferrell in the Hollywood Hills.
