I led the analysis/sustainability department and I worked on mechanical/plumbing design and energy modelling.In leading the analysis/sustainability department, I was responsible for setting project requirements, setting standards, training, and doing quality review. I ensured the department agilely responded to changes in construction, regulations and standards were incorporated especially when they crossed between energy analysis and mechanical/plumbing design.In mechanical and plumbing design, I worked on multifamily, commercial, and industrial buildings. My design experience includes drafting in AutoCAD, routing ductwork/piping horizontally and vertically throughout buildings, sizing of ducts/pipework, outdoor air calculations to ASHRAE 62.1, and system selection through building load analysis. My administrative tasks also include coordinating site instructions and communicating the results of studies to internal and external clients.For energy modelling, it focused on providing building performance, code compliance, and green-labelling analyses. Code compliance was per the VBBL and BCBC which relied on ASHRAE 90.1 ECB assessments. Green-labelling was generally for LEED-certification or LEED-equivalency ratings purposes using ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G.

I worked with the Regina R&D department with a focus on continuous caster improvements for a factory. I retrieved, prepared, and helped analyze samples to help identify trends. I documented my techniques to make a standard and worked machines to process steel samples. For safety in the factory and the research facility, I followed and improved safe working procedures.
