As a Lab Project Manager at Meta Reality Labs, I oversee the startup of an ISO Class 5 optical laboratory under continuous build operation. I manage task systems with over 100 active lab equipment requests, lab space requests, and special project requests, and report out progress on a weekly basis. I also source and manage vendors for dismantling, logistics, and storage of more than $30M worth of optical production equipment. I work closely with Lab Management, EHS, Construction, and Process Engineering, to ensure timely task completion and removal of roadblocks, while instilling a culture of safety on site.I have a strong background in analytical chemistry and problem solving, with a Master's of Science in Soil Science from North Carolina State University. I applied my transferable skills to the pharmaceutical industry, where I worked as a Senior Scientist Group Lead for Eurofins PSS, supporting a vaccine manufacturing client in Durham, NC. I led and trained a high performing analytics team on technically complex assays, discovered and improved a reagent storage procedure, and managed an 8+ member team in a technical operations group focused on manufacturing support. I am passionate about leading lab projects, building relationships, and implementing cost saving measures.
