Pace (www.pace.com), the leading set top box manufacturer has acquired multiple software companies providing Conditional Access, Middleware and Service Management solutions for Pay-TV operators. In this role I headed the global Software & Services sales, marketing and business development teams (in APAC, India, EMEA, USA and LATAM) growing sales over 50% year over year. I also led the software marketing activities including product positioning, collateral, web site, events, PR and marcom.

Reporting to the CTO and EVP Strategy & Technology, responsible for international business development, new media, advanced products, technologies and new markets. Identified and evaluated new technologies and new areas of business for NDS in the following areas:• Content Security, multi-screen device DRM• Content Monetization, new models such as OTT video services and enabling technologies• Advanced middleware features and Interactivity

In this role I was in charge of all marketing activities including overseeing product management - responsible for developing NDS product roadmaps, strategies, technologies and applications in the TV space with a focus on securing, and enabling content anytime, anywhere on any device including traditional TV broadcast over Satellite and Cable, PC’s over the Internet, a variety of mobile and portable devices and IPTV systems deployed all over the world.

During this period I was in charge of business development in the fields of home and mobile networking. In this role I was responsible for developing future NDS technologies, solutions and business, extending the range of NDS technologies and solutions to mobile TV and other networked devices within the home.

CEO of DigiScents (Israel) Ltd., and VP Product Development of California-based DigiScents Inc., a company specializing in research, design and development of scent (smell) digitization and fingerprinting including scent-based products. These technologies are implemented both on the input side (sniffers) and on the output side (whiffers). My responsibilities included overall management of all of the company’s product development activities from initial concept to manufacturing. In charge of a team of more than 25 engineers (Hardware & Software), as well as several consultants and outsource companies. These technologies were developed in collaboration with Prof. David Harel – dean of the Faculty of Mathematics & Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute, and Prof. Doron Lancet – head of the Crown Human Genome Center and the department of Molecular Genetics at the Weizmann Institute.

President of Immersia Ltd., a fully owned software subsidiary of California-based Interactive Light Inc., and VP Business Development for Interactive Light Inc. The company specialized in the design and development of highly immersive and interactive networked sports simulation products for the retail-entertainment (“Retailtainment”) market. My responsibilities included running a team of more than 30 employees, as well as company funding, vision, business development product marketing and strategy planning.In this position I was also responsible for developing our technological and strategic business alliances with Intel, Computer Associates, Callaway Golf, Louisville Slugger, Electronic Arts and others. I also created one of the world’s first online targeted ad platforms together with BBDO and Omnicom.

As simulation division manager for N.C.C. I was responsible for the design, development and marketing of military simulation systems, including:• Platoon and Company level tank firing and tactical training simulator (Tacticom);• TOW missile commander and gunnery simulator;• Tactical force-on-force simulator for tank and TOW units;• Artillery F.O (Forward Observer) simulator;• Anti-tank "MAPATS" missile gunnery simulator;• Engineering corps multi-functional training simulator;• Infantry small-arms combat shooting and marksmanship simulator.All simulator systems were based on Silicon Graphics hardware as well as additional embedded systems which provided visual simulation of terrain, targets and special effects in both 2D and 3D graphic environments. Some of the graphic algorithms were patented in Israel and in the U.S.
