Conduct strategic and operational aviation planning for joint rotary wing assets, airspace management, aero-medical evacuation, flight standardization, safety, and personnel recovery. Performs as project manager for any Army aviation centric tasks within the headquarters. Executes complex cross-functional planning with teams from 20 Coalition nations. Responsible to the XVIII Airborne Corps Aviation Officer for the successful integration of all aviation operations to support the 3-star Commander intent. Provides senior operational level interface between US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) and 5 subordinate Aviation Brigades.

Fort Campbell, Ky - 101St Combat Aviation Brigade

Primary plans and liaison officer of the Army's first 3,200 personnel Full Spectrum Combat Aviation Brigade with over 130 assigned Attack, Lift, MEDEVAC, and Unmanned aircraft. Responsible for receiving higher headquarters orders, analyzing their content, and briefing the primary staff on requirements across all warfighting functions. Integrated with Division, Brigade, and Battalion level staffs across Fort Campbell in the planning, preparing, executing, and assessing the Brigade's operations. Prioritized and assigned all Air Mission Requests from 4 Brigade Combat Teams and local civilian agencies. Prepared and presented command training updates and briefings. Attended the UH-60M new equipment fielding training, and was rated as Pilot in Command of the UH-60L and M model aircraft.

Fort Campbell, Ky - 6-101 General Support Aviation Battalion

Assistant Operations Officer for a multi-functional Aviation Task Force comprised of 70 various rotary wing aircraft, an organic aviation maintenance company, a forward support company, an Air Traffic Services company with a total of 671 personnel deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Responsible for planning, preparing, executing, and assessing the Task Force's combat operations. Prioritized Air Mission Requests from multiple customer units, and prepared daily operations synchronization briefings for the higher headquarters. Also maintained proficiency as a UH-60L Pilot in Command, served as a the Army Emergency Relief representative, and served as the Headquarters company Motorcycle Mentorship (safety) Officer in charge.

Fort Campbell, Ky - B Company, 5-101 Assault Helicopter Bn

As Executive Officer, acted as second-in-command of a 12 ship assault helicopter company deployed in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Responsible for daily flight mission scheduling, maintenance supervision and prioritization, and the management and execution of all administrative actions (including evaluations, awards, and training) for 67 pilots and crewmembers. Additionally served as voting assistance officer and tax assistance officer while maintaining profeciency as a Pilot in Command of the UH-60L BlackHawk helicopter.As Platoon Leader, managed the daily maintenance and flight mission allocation of 5 assigned BlackHawk helicopters. Developed and supervised the training for 29 pilots and crewmembers. Performed duties as a UH-60L pilot, maintaining proficiency in instrument procedures, external load operations, Night Vision Goggle (NVG) flight, and Air Assault Mission tasks in accordance with Army, FAA, and other directives.

Performed on and off aircraft troubleshooting and maintenance using detailed technical drawings and manuals. Maintained a technical library of all required publications related to the proper maintenance of aircraft electronic and airframe systems. Initiated and inspected required historical forms and records used to diagnose aircraft faults and inspections. Also served as primary driving instructor for company material handling equipment, to include forklifts, cranes, generators, and tractor trailers.
