- Looking into the difference in forebrain development if a receptor in a mice brain is deleted- Created and examined imaging slides of fluorescence dyed mice brains - Performed PCR and gel electrophoresis tests on mice DNA samples - Complied data sets from information gathered from imaging slides on neuron development within mice brains at different point in mice brain development- Presented at North Carolina State University’s 30th Annual Spring Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium

Enhanced the efficiency of the transport department, which helped decrease the wait time of patient transport requests, and pioneered the UNC Rex Hospital Transport Department Volunteer Team, which entailed planning the responsibilities and expectations of volunteers that move into this department.

Facilitated coaching meetings between mentee and mentor, championed student's development throughout the time of the program, shared relevant insight and wisdom with mentee, and provided honest, constructive feedback and advice for continued development.

Efficiently helped with customers checking out, lowering the average time it took for customers to check out. Also provided quality customer service through helping customers find desired items, bagging groceries, and loading the customers' vehicles with their purchased groceries.

Shadowed Dr. James Harris for 50 hours. I built a learning basis of what surgery is and about specific parts of the body that were operated on. Also observed a multitude of operations and what happens in the operating room on a daily basis, which helped with enhancing my knowledge in the medical field.

Volunteered for 100 hours throughout my time serving as a teacher's assistant for Mrs. Betsy Bilger. I taught classes of 30 students alongside the teacher, which helped the classes get through the coursework more efficiently. I also facilitated students when they would make up missed work.
