Hello! I'm Joseph Fantuzzi, and I am a Software Engineer based in Pennsylvania.Before kickstarting my development journey, I was an Architectural Engineering student at Penn State. After realizing that was not the right career choice for me, I decided to make the move to learn Software Engineering.In 2022, I graduated from a 6 month software development program at Bloom Institute of Technology where I completed 960 hours of development material. During my time there, I learned a wide variety of concepts ranging from Front-End Development with React to Back-End Development with Node to Database Design with SQL, all the way to learning different algorithms and data structures. Near the end of my time at Bloom Institute of Technology, there was an apprenticeship where I got the chance to work for a non-profit organization, Underdog Devs. During my time there, I worked as a Software Engineer on an agile software development team building solutions for a real world project.During the summer of 2023, I was honored to be a Software Engineering Intern for Ellucian on the Insights Platform team. I got the chance to work on an important feature for the Insights product, the Insights Card Template, that allows data reports and visualizations to be accessible from users’ homepages on the Experience dashboard, enabling departmental users to quickly discover and track consistent metrics critical to their success.
