Responsible for the safe, reliable, and profitable operation of the Baytown Complex Utilities Business Team. Provided work direction for a cross-functional team of highly capable process engineers, mechanical engineers, and administrative work direction for a team of 70 process employees. Oversaw the Operations' responsibilities for two capital projects: design, construction, and start-up of a new demineralized water plant as well as two powerboilers.

Delivered competitive Turnaround and other Major Maintenance activities, overseeing a team of mechanical planners and cost controllers.

Two roles in the Coordination, Economics, and Product Quality Department delivering the economic optimization of the Baytown Refinery's heavy clean products systems, hydrogen system, acid gas system, distillate blending, and new crude screening and acquisition.
