About Joe Ferraro

Product and engineering leader with a concentration on health tech. From 2009-2021, I was the CTO at Mavens, a startup building commercial and medical HCP & patient engagement software for life sciences. When Mavens was acquired by Komodo Health in 2021, I joined Komodo's Office of the CTO to focus on scaling Komodo's AI platform for healthcare & life sciences. From 2022-2023 I led product development for Komodo. In December 2023, I joined Salesforce as VP/Head of Product for Life Sciences Cloud.I'm a strong advocate for the open source community. From 2011-2017, I dedicated most of my open source time to MavensMate, a suite of developer tools for building applications on the Salesforce platform. MavensMate has been used by 100,000s developers globally. I'm a regular speaker at the world's largest cloud software conference, Dreamforce, and I was named a Salesforce MVP from 2012-2017 for my stewardship and leadership within the development community.
