My current role provides effective leadership of 3 countries for all major incidents, crisis management, business continuity and other matters that affect our ability to perform to the maximum potential. I routinely work in partnership with senior colleagues from other emergency services, local government and other industry/third-party partners to resolve serious or complex issues affecting our combined businesses or the safety of the public. I have extensive experience in leading and managing teams responsible for public safety and security at major events, incident response, and operational planning. This often involved the provision of specialist skills in high-threat/harm criminal investigations to achieve a suitable resolution. I have matched this practical experience with a strong academic background, achieving a first-class honours degree in Policing.I have held several management roles within the Police Service where I have managed large-scale operational units across London covering the operational response to major incidents. I have extensive experience in coordinating with partner agencies, and conducting post-incident reviews to highlight and disseminate best practice to all.I have ensured that operational plans are implemented and maintained to ensure incidents are resolved accordingly. I have ensured that regulatory guidance is followed at all times, and that operational and tactical control to maintained to ensure public safety at all times. I have many years of experience of operational incident command as a duty officer, event commander or public order/public safety bronze commander. I am also qualified to operate as a Joint Emergency Services Operational Commander.I have worked alongside senior management teams as well as third-party stakeholders to build long-term relationships via thoughtful and consistent communication stratagies. I understand and embed the importance of joint situational awareness to resolve mutual issues.I have extensive experience in operational command and incident investigation, including coordinating with other emergency services and promoting risk management practices. I operate to a high level across multiple departments and agencies, and understand the importance of embedding suitable safety and security measures across the wider business. I have experience of enacting security measures with third-party law enforcement agencies and ensuring swift action is taken based on emerging threats.I have been awarded numerous commendations over my career for professionalism, bravery and leadership.
