Josephine has over 12 years of experience in maternal and child health, with a focus on optimal infant and young child nutrition and care practices. In addition to other accredited roles, she is a Certified Lactation Support Professional, a La Leche League International Leader and a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (IAIM). She also holds an MSc in International Development and is currently enrolled in an Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy.She works with various stakeholders, such as the Kenya Ministry of Health, INGOs, universities and private organisations to improve the quality and accessibility of postpartum care in Kenya and the wider East African region. Josephine is driven by her passion for health promotion, program development and implementation, health education, nutritional counselling, and community health. She is a catalyst for change and a mentor to aspiring health professionals in the maternal and child health + nutrition sector.
