IAIM Kenya Chapter

International Association of Infant Massage - Kenya was formed and officially recognised as an active IAIM Chapter in early 2015 and our work, like that of the parent organisation, is much more than teaching massage strokes. It includes honoring connections between human beings from the very beginning of life and the unique communication a mother or father has with their baby. The training of Certified Infant Massage Instructors (CIMIs), the setting of courses and the maintenance of professional standards are overseen by IAIM. However, IAIM Kenya Chapter is autonomous; it complies with the guidelines established by the Registrar of Societies in Kenya, has its own Constitution and volunteer Executive Committee. IAIM-Kenya is responsible for its own development and funding. Currently there are just under 15 CIMIs in Kenya who are registered with the Chapter and actively teaching infant massage.
