IADC Vision Statement For the drilling industry to be recognized for its vital role in enabling the global economy and its high standards of safety, environmental stewardship and operational efficiency. The mission of the IADC Government Affairs team is to influence and advocate for positive policy outcomes, to disseminate accurate information on issues of concern to our members, and to provide a forum for exchange of ideas pertaining to policy matters affecting IADC members. Joe achieves this mission through a shared understanding of key issues with and among government leaders, policy makers, non-governmental organizations, and key thought leaders. He manages and leads IADC in these efforts by running the Washington, DC office and operations, developing policy and legislative goals and strategy, and coordinating press efforts and public relations.
