With a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Physics in progress at the University of Nairobi, I am a future educator with a passion for STEM. I believe that education is the key to unlocking the potential of our youth and creating a better world.As part of my degree, I had the privilege of teaching Math and Physics at Wanjohi Girls High School for six months. There, I applied my subject knowledge and pedagogical skills to design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that enhanced the students' understanding and appreciation of STEM. I also supported the school's extracurricular activities, such as the Science Club and the Math Olympiad, to foster a culture of curiosity and innovation among the students. I received positive feedback from the school administration, the parents, and the students for my performance and contribution.Teaching at Wanjohi High School was an enriching and rewarding experience that confirmed my passion and commitment for education. I am eager to continue learning and growing as a teacher, and to make a positive impact on the lives and futures of my students. My core competencies include time management, teacher training, and teaching.
