Through various diverse and successful careers, I've not only gained a breadth of experience but realized my genuine desire to help others in every endeavor. My "Why” is to enhance people’s lives for a purpose and mission I believe in. Starting with my career as an attorney, followed by working as a Special Agent with the FBI safeguarding our country, and more recently forming two successful companies, I'm proud of the cultures I have created and the impact my work has had on the lives of others. Now, as a Vistage Chair, I am able to leverage the insight I've gained as a business leader and a ten-year Vistage member to enable CEOs and business owners to make better decisions and maximize their impact as leaders. From guiding a GovCon start-up through profitable growth and sale to starting and running a boutique financial practices law firm, I've been in the shoes of leaders and experienced the challenges they face in their climb to the top. Both entities were built with the proper foundation and processes, allowing them to operate and run smoothly and, as a result, exceeded expectations. I was supported in my leadership journey by being a member of a Vistage peer advisory group. As a member, I worked collaboratively with like-minded CEOs in my area, utilizing their insights to navigate challenges and reach new heights. Being a Vistage member ultimately allowed me to take calculated risks that guided the growth and successful sale of my company and influenced my decision to support the start and executive management of the law firm. A natural next step in my career was becoming a Vistage Chair. As Chair, I create an environment for CEOs and business owners of non-competing industries to discuss challenges they're facing, vet solutions, and show up for one another, allowing them to make better decisions that drive profitable growth for their companies, taking their business and leadership to a whole new level. My members not only rely on their peers for guidance but are committed to seeing each other succeed and achieve leadership excellence. As George Bernard Shaw said, “Life isn't about finding yourself.
