My story begins with Legos. Brick by brick, I meticulously assembled tens of thousands of tiny plastic pieces throughout my childhood to create everything from spaceships to Stegosaurus. I spent countless hours on the carpeted floor of my bedroom, completely lost in my own imagination. In hindsight, it makes perfect sense that I ended up fascinated by the world of coding. I merely traded the colorful bricks for delicate strings of code that unlocked the same level of infinite possibilities — both of which limited only by the bounds of my own creativity. If there's one thing I've learned in my professional career, it's that there's nothing more rewarding in life than pushing these bounds — and successfully delivering.I feel incredibly thankful for the diverse experiences that have marked my journey in software engineering. CattleTec tested my endurance as a boots-on-the-ground developer in a startup setting, staying dedicated to the grind of building out technical features. SHAZAM provided me with new and invaluable exposure to the world of quality assurance and the intricacies of software testing. And my current role at the National Pork Board has allowed me to leverage the cloud to build cost-effective solutions to previously unsolvable problems. Benjamin Franklin hit the nail on the head: "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn."And boy, do I love to learn. When I'm not coding, you might find me snowboarding, hiking, playing the drums, or reading up on how AI is soon to put me out of a job.Technology is my playground, and I’m always eager to connect with others who share a passion for challenging the status quo.
