I am the conductor of the Camino Nuevo Youth Orchestra as a part of the YOLA program at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy. I also contribute to YOLA special projects as a conductor and teaching artist, such as YOLA National Tour.

I teach trumpet and brass technique at various sites for the Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA) program. While YOLA at HOLA is my primary site, I also serve as a Lead Teaching Artist for the YOLA Institute Youth Orchestra, conducting wind and brass sectionals, reviewing and creating audition material, and coordinating with conductors for special projects and events. I have contributed to brass and trumpet curriculum development for the YOLA program, transcribe and arrange orchestral scores to meet site and curriculum needs, and participate as a conductor and performer in special projects such as YOLA's Walt Disney Concert Hall Recording Project and the YOLA Soiree.

The Gay Freedom Band of Los Angeles is the second-oldest LGBTQ+ community band in the world, started in 1978 in Los Angeles, California. GFBLA is a 501c3 providing public concerts and events with a mission to promote acceptance and celebrate diversity by bringing together musicians from across Southern California for performance and educational opportunities that embrace equality, inclusion, and the love of music.I am the Conductor of the GFBLA Concert Band and oversee the artistic development of the GFBLA Concert Band, GFBLA Jazz Band, GFBLA Marching & Pep Band, and the GFBLA Chamber Music Program. Since the start of my Artistic Director tenure with GFBLA, I have led the organization through an expansion of our programs by reinstating the GFBLA Jazz Band, launching the GFBLA Chamber Music Program, and forming community partnerships with organizations such as the Boston Court, the Heart of Los Angeles, and the Huntington Library and Gardens. I have also been invited as a guest artistic director for the Pride Bands Alliance National Conference in Denver in 2023.

As chief administrator, I oversaw all rehearsal and concert scheduling for over 100 composer and performer attendees, whose works were being premiered during our two-week festival. I cooperated with the venue administration and organized a team to setup, produce, and record public concerts, as well as help with day-to-day needs for festival attendees and guest artists, such as travel pick-up and room and board.

I also fulfilled administrative duties such as ensemble communication, public relations/advertising, and rehearsal scheduling with creative and visionary work such as choosing repertoire, coming up with themed concerts, and composing and premiering new works for and with the ensemble.
